Barbara or Barb as she was known was born on October 18, 1885 Dayton, OH. In about 1903 her family moved to souther California.
Barb married Ralston John Stadler. They had 2 children: Giles and Clifford.
From Federal census records we know:
In 1900 Barbara (14) was at home in Dayton, OH with her family.
In 1910 Barbara (23) was at home with her family in Los Angeles, CA.
In 1910 Ralston (19) was at home with his family in District 70, Los Angeles, CA.
In 1920 Barbara was married to Ralston. They lived in Inglewood, L.A., CA with Giles W. (5).
In 1930 Barbara and Ralston lived in Inglewood, L.A., CA with Giles W. (14) and Clifford (8).
Comment and Thanks
Early in the study we had known about John Trefzger from Stewart Trefzger and from the 1900 and 1910 census, but we had not been able to find any descendants.
Then in October 1995 Lucille Trefzger (Ed’s wife) from Oregon contacted me and gave me information about Ed’s family. She also gave me names of a few other people to contact. Ann Stadler provided info about Barbara Trefzger’s family. Gary Collier filled us in on ‘Deanie” Albertina Trefzger Meyer’s family. Amy Hageman sent more on Barbara Trefzger Stadler’s family. In 2002 Anna Mae Daum and Mariann Link gave us info about Louisa Trefzger Daum’s family. In 2009 Gary Collier Sent us wonderful photos.
