"Adele was born in Cincinnati on May 10, 1944.
She is the third daughter and fourth child of AdeleBerger Colvin and Joseph Wesley Colvin, MD.
Mom came back to Cincinnati from Corpus Christi, TX when she was 7 months pregnant with me, because Dad was sent to the Pacific. He did not see me until I was 18 months old.
We have the telegram delivered to his ship in the Pacific saying "Mother and daughter both well." He received it eleven days after I was born.
I was 3 years old when we moved to Texas, attended school at St. Alice, Our Lady of Victory and Nolan Catholic High School graduating in 1962. Received a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in 1966 and an M.A. from St. Mary's university in 1970.
I married Stephen Martin Dufilho in December, 1966. We raised five children, now all married with 13 grandchildren.
Steve has always been in banking or wealth management.
I have spent the past 25 years doing social work with the Daughters of Cherity in San Antonio, TX."
