Johann Trefzger was a Master Shoemaker in Wehr, Baden.
On April 11,1853 Johann ,married Maria Weber. This was the same day his brother Simon was married in the same church. Possibly it was a double wedding.
Johann and Maria had 3 sons: Arthur, Eduard and Arnold.
On August 25,1874 when Johann was 50 years old he was shot in a farm accident and died.
Arthur was Johann's 1st son. Arthur was 21 years old when his dad died. Arthur married Maria Dietsche on July 24,1884. We have found no children.
Eduard, Johann's 2nd son, married and had 6 children. His 3 child Fred emmigrated to the USA in 1907.

Arnold, their 3rd son, was almost 10 years old when his dad died. Arnold was taken in and raised by his older brother Arthur. When Arnold was 28 years old he emmigrated in 1892 to Mahanoy, PA in east central Pennsylvania.
